Emma Norton Services is a 501(c)3
non-profit organization supported largely by individuals like you! In 2001,
51% of our income came from individuals, families, church congregations,
women's groups, and community groups. An additional 31% of our income came
from grants from Foundations and corporations and through government
contracts. The programs of Emma Norton Services are driven by the
commitment of our supporters, donors, volunteers, staff, and Board members.
Thank you for your interest in the programs of Emma Norton
Services! We couldn't provide the services we do without your help!
We are in the middle of a financial campaign!
The first
phase of the Financial Campaign raised $3.5 million dollars for the construction
of Emma's Place, thirteen town homes in
Maplewood, Minnesota for homeless single parents with four or more children.
We are continuing the second phase of the Financial Campaign -- raising $1.5 million dollars for
Emma's Legacy
Fund -- our very own Endowment Fund. A long time dream of many
involved in the work of Emma Norton Services, an Endowment Fund would
provide an annual source of funding for new programs and special projects
decided upon by the Board of Directors at Emma Norton Services. The $1.5
million dollars would be the principle of Emma's Legacy Fund and will be
invested through the Women's Division of the General Board of Global
Ministries of the United Methodist Church. Only the annual interest
earnings from this fund will be available for funding new programs and
special projects of Emma Norton Services.
We are asking everyone we know to consider making a three-year pledge to
Emma's Legacy Fund. If you would like more information, please contact
Deanna Kramer, Development Director at Emma Norton Services by phone at (651)
