There Are Many Ways to Support Emma Norton
Services
In-Kind Donations
As a result of generous donations of paper products such as paper towels,
facial tissue, and toilet paper from United Methodist Women's groups and
individuals, Emma Norton Services rarely needs to buy these items for the
people that we serve. The value of those in-kind donations is thousands of

Volunteerism
The gift of time is a valuable contribution to the programs at Emma
Norton Services. Every year, Emma Norton Services is lucky enough to work
with hundreds of volunteers! In 2001, 364 volunteers put in over 1,600
hours of work at Emma Norton Services. We are privileged to work with a
number of youth groups in the summer, but are always looking for more
volunteers to help out at Emma Norton Residence and Emma's Place. Please read more about the many Volunteer

Honorariums and Memorials

Annual Dinner
Every May, Emma Norton Services holds an Annual Dinner at which we update
the attendees on the growth and accomplishments of the previous year. In
conjunction with the dinner, we have a silent auction fundraiser with lots
of wonderful items on which to bid. Come share an evening of fun with
supporters from all over Minnesota and meet and greet the Board members
and staff of Emma Norton Services.
Pin Sales
Every year, we work with Lucinda Yates from Designs by Lucinda to
sell jewelry pins and ornaments on behalf of Emma Norton Services. Once
homeless herself, Lucinda donates over half of every sale to the programs
of Emma Norton Services.
